A blend of defined strains of lactic acid bacteria for direct vat inoculation of milk, milk bases and other food applications.
The bacterial strains have been carefully selected and combined to ensure quick acidification and to provide a thick and mild yogurt.
Yo-Mix ABY - 2C LYO is presented in polyethylene bottles containing 225 DCU and is designed to produce set, stirred and drinkable yogurts. The freeze-dried format facilitates easy storage and handling.
Directions for use: Sterilise the bottle with the appropriate sanitiser, blot dry with a paper towel before opening to prevent clumping around the bottle opening.
Once opened, add the contents of the bottle directly to the pasteurised milk. Agitate at a slow speed without aeration for 30 minutes.
The recommended incubation temperature is 38-45°C (100 - 113°F) dependant on the set time required.
Usage levels: 20DCU per 100 litres or 225DCU for 1125 litres
Composition: Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bugaricus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. lactis, Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactose.
Storage: Shelf life is 12 months when stored at -20°C (-4°F) and there is 3 months shelf life when the product is stored at 4°C (40°F).
