Make delicious yogurt and soft cheese with this freeze-dried vegan culture which is ideal for those following a non-dairy diet. The culture ensures a uniform production of drinkable, set or stirred soy yogurt and/or soft cheese. With an 18 month storage life, you can produce great vegan yogurt and cheese time and time again!
This culture consists of specifically selected strains of Streptococcus thermophiles and Lactobacillus delbrueckii ssp. bulgaricus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium animalis ssp and lactis for soy products.
Each sachet contain 1UC. Dosage for long-set yogurt: each sachet is enough for up to 100L of milk. For short-set yogurt, each sachet is enough to inoculate 25-50L of milk. Each sachet holds 3g (2 teaspoons). 1/8th of a teaspoon of SYAB1 is enough for 1.5-3L of milk (short-set) or up to 6L of milk (long-set).
