This Lyoflora SYAB1 vegan culture is ideal for those following a non-dairy diet. Make delicious yogurt and soft cheese with this sachet. This freeze-dried culture consists of specifically selected strains of Streptococcus thermophiles and Lactobacillus delbrueckii ssp. bulgaricus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium animalis ssp and lactis for soy products. It ensures a uniform production of drinkable, set or stirred soy yogurt and/or soft cheese.
Each sachet contain 1UC. Dosage for long-set yogurt: each sachet is enough for up to 100L of milk. For short-set yogurt, each sachet is enough to inoculate 25-50L of milk. Each sachet holds 3g (2 teaspoons). 1/8th of a teaspoon of SYAB1 is enough for 1.5-3L of milk (short-set) or up to 6L of milk (long-set).
There is an 18 month storage life on this product so you can produce great vegan yogurt and cheese time and time again!
